Christmas Table Setting with golden Elements and evergreens

Christmas season is around the corner and it’s about time for some decor inspiration, don’t you think? I don’t know about you but personally, I just love decorating the apartment, crafting some homemade gifts and giving everything a little touch of Christmas magic. For al of you who are in charge of the Christmas table decor this year, I prepared a little something that I want to show you today. I hope you get a little inspired.

Do it Yourself Christmas Table Setting with golden Elements: What to do

Actually, I mostly decorate with shades of white, grey or silver. But for this table setting, I decided to go for some golden accessories. I think they fit perfect into Christmas season. The basis of this table setting is the golden cutlery. Since I wanted to work with natural elements for this table setting I put together a mix of Christmas greens that I placed in one line in the middle of the table. My substrate is a black tabletop but you can also use some black table cloth. I think this gives the table setting something magical and gallant.

To bring up the gold again, I also added two golden decor Christmas tree, that I found in a cute interior shop the other day. In addition, I decided to go for some yarrow in a little glass vase. Normal flowers would be too much for this table setting and the yarrow is very simple and minimalistic. Last but not least, I used black plates (you can get them at Ikea for 1,99,- per piece). I placed some cloth napkins on the plates, as well as a little branch of greens and bundled cinnamon sticks. The cute gift tags are from our US trip and I totally love them. You can easily make them yourself with some white paper and a golden pen.

How do you like this elegant table setting? Down below, I listed you everything you need for this table decor.

This is what you need for the table setting

  • black table cloth or tabletop
  • black or dark plates
  • golden cutlery( like this one)
  • evergreens/mix (you can find this in almost every flower shop)
  • 2 golden decor elements (like the christmas trees)
  • 4 cinnamon sticks (bound together) per place setting
  • 4 cloth napkins
  • gift tags, or white paper and golden pen
  • glass vase and some yarrow
  • creme colored candles (optional)

Das goldene Besteck ist der Knaller! Das hat uns bei unserer Weihnachtsdeko gefehlt.

Wir haben auch ein paar Tischdekorationen vorbereitet, welche wir bis Weihnachten posten. Schau doch mal rein 🙂
