I use coconut oil for about two years now. At first, I used it only for cooking and frying. But in the meantime, I use it for so much more things in my everyday life. And that’s what I want to tell you about today. Coconut oil is in fact, a true all-rounder and very useful in both, the kitchen and in body care. It consists mainly of saturated fat, so it can be heated up and thus differs extremely from other vegetable oils. Coconut oil is super healthy for our body because it can be absorbed very easily and delivers long-lasting energy without deteriorating our blood fats. Moreover, coconut oil is a real bacteria killer. The medium-chain fatty acids found in coconut oil fight viruses, bacteria and fungi strains. The immune system is strengthened tremendously by coconut oil ! Even skin & hair benefit from the natural action of the oil! Doesn’t that sound promising? 1. Cooking, frying, baking
Like I already mentioned earlier, coconut oil can be heated up to higher temperatures than other oils. That is why it is just perfect to use in the kitchen. It does not lose its nutrients while heated. Perfect for baking as well. It serves as a 1:1 supplement for butter or other fats/oils.
2. Popcorn Topper

Doesn’t get more natural! Heat up a tablespoon of coconut oil in the microwave while you are getting ready for bed. Use it as facial lotion, let it dry over night and when you get up in the morning, you will have amazing smooth skin! You should try it, amazing results!
7. Hair Care
Who has dry hair lenghts like I do? I got a prefect solution. Heat up a tablespoon of coconut oil and massage it into your tips. You will do it for about one to two weeks, every other night before you go to bed. After just a few days you will notice the difference.
8. Oil Pulling
The trend o foil pulling came last year from the US to Europe. Oil pulling is a treatment where the oil is used to filter bacteria out of your mouth. I will start this treatment tomorrow and follow the instructions for 10 to 15 days. Obviously I will report my experience here!
9. Lip Balm
As you can use the oil for facial care, you can use it as a lip balm as well.
A teaspoon of coconut oil in a cup of tea can help recovering from a cold. It boosts your immune system and provides your body with nutrients which help your system during recovering.
